Group Fitness

The Group Fitness Program at FoxCare Fitness is designed to provide participants with a wide variety of group fitness activities. Our classes accommodate all ages and fitness levels and are taught by the finest fitness professionals in the Oneonta area.

  • Class schedules are periodically revised; please check with the Front Desk or click this link for the current schedule of classes.
  • Some classes require pre-registration while others require both pre-registration and payment. Please inquire and/or sign-up for these classes at our Front Desk.
  • All "walk-in" classes are ongoing and members are invited to attend at any time.

Group Fitness Winter Protocol

 With winter and all of its glory right around the corner, we have put a cancellation policy in place for MORNING group fitness classes. If the Oneonta City School District is closed due to a weather related issue, (IE snow, ice, floods) we will cancel all of our morning group fitness classes. This ONLY goes into effect if the Oneonta City School district is closed due to weather. If they are closed for any other reason (IE power outage, water main break, ETC) classes will run as scheduled.  We will play the rest of the day by ear. Please feel free to call our Front Desk at 607-431-5454 before heading out. The safety of our members and staff is very important to us.


 

 FEBRUARY FITNESS WORKSHOP

Golf Strength Training  

 with KELLY J

Come join Kelly, a Titleist Performance Institute certified coach, for this one hour workshop to learn strength and conditioning exercises specific to the game of golf. Novice to expert, this workshop will cover exercises all golfers should be doing to build strength for a more powerful swing and longer distance on the course. Get prepared for the upcoming season to make 2019 your very best golfing year yet!

TAI CHI FOR ARTHRITIS & FALL PREVENTION

with ARLANA YOUNG

8 WEEK BLOCK CLASS

Fridays beginning February 22nd through April 12th

In this block class students will learn a series of gentle, easy movements performed in a specific order, similar to a dance routine, but much slower. This practice can improve balance (both mental and physical), significantly reduce the rate of falling for older adults, relieve arthritis pain and improve relaxation, vitality, posture and immunity.
Each of the 8 sessions is 60 minutes in duration

OFF SEASON GOLF FITNESS

with KELLY J

In this 6-week block class you will work with a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certified coach to improve overall function and golf fitness. Topics include injury prevention, strength and conditioning specific to the game of golf. Each participant will receive a 90 minute TPI golf screen to assess movement pattern and muscular imbalances, two 60 minute one-on-one training sessions to create your personal program and 6 group training / recovery sessions.

GROUP TRAININGS ARE AT 10AM FOR SIX CONSECUTIVE SATURDAYS
Each group training session will be approximately 60 MINUTES in duration

Saturdays February 23rd through March 30th
